Dr. Ruben Karapetyan is a seasoned diplomat, historian, and author with nearly 30 years of experience representing Armenia across the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and Africa. He held Ambassadorial roles in countries including Egypt, Italy, and South Africa, and served as Armenia’s first representative to the League of Arab States and African Union. A Doctor of Historical Sciences and Professor, he lectures on International Relations and Geopolitics, and has authored seven books. Dr. Karapetyan is an Honorary President of the Armenian Historical Society and a Distinguished Professor at RAU.
